My research follows the carbon that moves between mangroves and the land they meet, tracing how these coastal forests connect to the salt flats and savannahs behind them. Alongside it, I help turn that science into conservation, restoration, and blue carbon work on the ground.
Reading the carbon that moves between land and sea. I move between the science of how these systems connect and the practice of keeping them standing.
