Alongside the science, I have planned and delivered restoration on the ground. In Palawan I designed a mangrove restoration plan for Puting Buhangin Island; in Tamil Nadu I worked on hydrological restoration, planting, and the social surveys that make restoration last.
More recently I have shaped mangrove conservation and restoration strategy across the MENA region, bringing field practice together with regional policy and the needs of local stakeholders.
