Bringing mangrove science to the table where coastal decisions get made.
I advise on the environmental side of coastal development and policy. In the UAE this has included an environmental impact assessment for a large-scale development across a coastal island, together with stakeholder mapping, consultation, and workshop facilitation for mangrove conservation in the MENA region.
In Brazil I advised the São Paulo State Prosecutor’s Office on environmental impact valuation, and co-authored the legal-framework chapter in the national Atlas of Brazilian Mangroves.
Contributed to an EIA for large-scale coastal island development in the UAE.
Mapped and consulted stakeholders and facilitated multi-party workshops.
