I co-edited the Springer reference volume Brazilian Mangroves and Salt Marshes, curating contributions, coordinating co-authors, and writing several chapters. Over two decades I have taught marine biology, ecology, and environmental subjects at USP, Mackenzie, and ARGOS.
I also write and illustrate for wider audiences: I co-authored and illustrated the children’s story Scarlet and the Mangroves, produced an illustrated guide to mangrove trees, and helped tell Amazonian community stories through children’s eyes.
